Hi, I’m Mia.

I’m a traveler, learner, and photographer born in Idaho and based in Brooklyn, NY.

I began working in the film and photography industry in 2021 in the camera department. But over the last two years I started combining wandering and work, and took up many odd jobs volunteering and shooting overseas. I love to volunteer because it takes me to unknown places and inspires new questions to explore in my work.

In the fall, I finished a five-month tour around SE Asia and Europe doing just that. I took my camera and pen along for the ride, giving blogging and storytelling a shot.
